Terms of sale
These general terms apply when you buy products or services from Strangstad Tech (stech) via our website or related payment flows. By completing a purchase you accept these terms.
1. Seller
Seller is Strangstad Tech (stech), Norway. Contact: via the contact form on stech.strangstad.com or the email published on our website.
2. Products and services
We sell software, digital services, support, digital units (including Skarð / SKAR / Flís), and limited physical merchandise (caps, shirts, hoodies, stickers) as described on the product pages. Product descriptions, revisions, sizes, and availability may change. Quotes for software packages are not binding until we confirm an order. Merchandise is typically produced in limited batches after order (not continuous warehouse stock).
3. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in Norwegian kroner (NOK) unless otherwise stated. For Skarð units, the charge is based on our published market floor and live quote (minimum 1000 NOK per SKAR, pro-rated for Flís). List prices on the shop may be indicative; the amount presented at checkout is binding for that purchase.
4. Payment and payment-provider fees
We may offer payment via Vipps, bank transfer, or other providers. When you pay with a payment provider (for example Vipps), their fee may be added to the product price and shown clearly before you pay (currently Vipps: 2.99% of the product amount + 1 NOK, subject to change). Fee rates are configured per provider and can be updated without changing these general terms. You are charged the product amount plus any disclosed pass-through fee. Bank transfer may have no provider fee. Payment is complete when we receive confirmation from the provider or have verified a bank transfer.
5. Delivery
Digital goods and wallet credits (SKAR / Flís) are delivered electronically after successful payment — typically by crediting your Skarð wallet linked to the email you provide. Software licences and project delivery follow the confirmed order or quote. Physical merchandise is shipped after production; lead times and shipping destinations (e.g. Norway / EU) are stated on the product page or confirmed when we accept the order. Risk of loss for physical goods passes according to the agreed shipping method once the carrier has the package.
6. Right of withdrawal
For consumer purchases of digital content, the right of withdrawal may be limited once delivery has begun or the content has been made available with your consent, in line with Norwegian and EU distance-selling rules. For physical merchandise that is made to order or personalised (print-on-order limited runs), withdrawal may be limited once production has started, as allowed by law for custom goods. Unworn, unused standard merch returned in original condition may be accepted at our discretion if production has not started — contact us promptly with your order reference. Business (B2B) purchases are governed by the agreed contract and these terms.
7. Liability and warranty
We aim for correct delivery and secure operation of our services. Except where mandatory law says otherwise, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific purchase. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or loss of data beyond what mandatory law requires. Software is provided as described; on-premise deployments remain under your operational control.
8. Privacy
We process personal data needed to complete the sale (for example email, payment reference, and delivery details) under our Privacy policy. See /privacy.
9. Contact and disputes
Questions about an order: use the contact form or the email on our website, and include your payment reference. These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes may be brought before the ordinary Norwegian courts; consumers may also use applicable consumer complaint bodies.
10. Merchandise (apparel & stickers)
Merch prices may be listed in Flís / SKAR (with NOK list at the Skarð floor) or NOK. You must provide correct size and shipping address when ordering. We aim for the stated lead time (often 2–4 weeks) but printing and carrier delays can occur; we will notify you of material delay. Colours and print placement can vary slightly between batches. Hygiene: opened or worn apparel is generally not returnable except where mandatory law requires. Damaged or misprinted items: contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and order reference for replacement or refund of that item. Customs, VAT, and import fees outside Norway are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed. We do not currently offer gift cards or product bundles as separate products.
